Well, the past month has been a whirlwind. Greg came to visit (!) for nine whole days in late March, and it was just heavenly. I used his visit as an excuse to tackle all the touristy things I'd been putting off in Copenhagen: we went to Amalienborg Palace (where Queen Margrethe II lives), to Nyhavn harbor, Rosenborg Castle, the new aquarium and, finally, to Christiansborg, which houses Danish Parliament and the royal family. The weather was quite accommodating, so we donned bikes each day to explore the city.

^Biking is the best part of this city. Maybe.
^Warm enough to eat ice cream outdoors! Wearing layers and scarves, mind you. I think I kept my gloves on.
^We really did love the sunshine.

Some more favorite photos:

^A meager attempt at a jumping photo outside of the National Gallery (we walked in four minutes before closing time... oops).

^Some smooches.

^Bike play.

^Mischief at Christiansborg (where were the guards?!).

^More mischief...

^And a little more sweetness (at Christiansborg).
The day after Greg left, my friends Marika and Rebecca came to visit from London. For some reason is was a whopping 45 degrees and sunny outside (I don't know? Must do with the fact that it's April?!) during their time here, so we walked through the city lots, spending time in Christiania and Strøget. On their last day we popped over to Malmö, Sweden (a 20 minute train ride!) where we window shopped, ate lots of food, and not much else.

^A random camera crew came up to us and asked us what our "special talent" was, so naturally, I did a cartwheel.

I'm so grateful for visitors. How lucky am I to have friends in half a dozen other countries in Europe at the same time? And that my boyfriend, my mom and my dad will all visit me? Too lucky.
Next up - Paris! :)
