Sorry for the silence on this end, I supposed it's due to a mix of busy-ness and laziness. So let's play catch up:
- I've started my classes! Taking two sociology courses and a Danish culture course. So far, they're very interesting. Still adjusting to the no-tests-but-still-lots-of-reading-that-may-or-may-not-be-worth-doing kinda style that University of Copenhagen has.
- Got my residence permit (AKA Visa) - but it says I'm from Uganda.... so I gotta go back to the Immigration Office and resubmit it. Love that place...
- Going to London on March 7th! Visiting a bunch of best friends. Really excited to see them and to be in a country with menus in English. And to have high tea.
- Still snowing here, and raining. February is just as cold as January was. But I peeked at the March forecast and it will be in the 40s way more often! Stoked to only wear one jacket outdoors.
- Biking a lot. But the bike is currently broken, so back to walking and the expensive metro until I fix it. (I think the chain fell off, but the chain is behind a plastic guard-thing, so gotta figure out how to take that off first. If I can't fix it myself, there are oodles of bike shops everywhere.)
- Planning future trips! Mom and Rochelle are coming in May, and we're going to Amsterdam and Brussels then. I hope to go to Paris in April, and hopefully Italy in late May. If I'm around in June, I'm determined to visit Spain, too.
- Mom has been emailing me photos of home, and I've really been enjoying them. It's kinda like getting free postcards from home. I'd love it if other people sent pictures too, if they're the mobile-phone-picture-taking type!
^ Valentine's Day balloons by Strøget, the sweetest little sight last Thursday.
^ Being shameless tourists with my housemates Silvia (middle) and Serena (right).
^ Eating foie gras(!) at Tapasbaren during Copenhagen Dining Week. I tried really hard to like it. It was harder when I found out what it was.

^ And a good old Scandinavian braid that I'll definitely wear again.
Oh, and happy Valentine's Day, loved ones! Thanks for reading.

Nice! Thanks for the pic! Can't you see from the opposite side whether it's just the chain off? I remember those plastic chain guard things from when I was a kid...
